Chris Snyder's Magnum Opus...

There are so many things I love about this above fistpumping shot from last night's D-Backs-Dodgers game that I am just going to treat it like a fine piece of art, quickly muse on the meaning of the work and let everyone else enjoy the beauty of this pump and keep it open to different interpretations.

If I may expound for a moment, personally why this piece touches me deeply (no homo) is because I believe it shows the perfect illustration of the duality of man, the symmetry of life: glove on one hand, nothing in the other; one leg up, one leg down, the mask - halfway on his face, half off - giving Snyder a Two Face-esque appearance. I would even go so far as to say the true beauty of this masterpiece is how it depicts the fistpump both as a glorious beacon, the most holy, virginal way to celebrate a great moment, while at the same time also shows the deep seeded animosity and ferociousness that is the fistpump.
